We are tight knit team of math teachers who have a wide variety of experiences spread across public, private, and charter schools.

We offer one-on-one math tutoring in Durham, NC and throughout Durham County. Whether you’re located in Durham proper, or any of the surrounding areas such as Chapel-Hill, Carr, Lebanon, Mangum, Oak Grove, Triangle, Rougemont, Gorman, or Genlee — we can help your child get back on track.

In addition to the public schools, we work with students at many of the area's fine private schools.

We also serve as private instructors for home schoolers in the area.

Who are the tutors?

Our team is made up of licensed, trained, experienced, and personable teachers.

All of them have a Masters Degree or a Bachelors Degree in their area of expertise. They all possess at least 6 years of in-classroom experience.

They have been qualified and certified by their state after successfully completing the necessary education, exams, training and classroom experience.

They are all extensively vetted by looking at their past professional accomplishments, the recommendations of their administrators, fellow teachers, students and parents.

Most importantly, we select each tutor for their personalities and ability to connect with students. All of the knowledge in the world is useless without the ability to communicate it in a way that students can understand.

Who will be our tutor?

We will match you to an available tutor on our team who fits your objectives, preferences, and the type of issues you are dealing with.

Different tutors have different approaches, personalities, and areas of expertise, so it's important to us that we find the right person who can help you achieve the best results.

We have found that we're able to provide a successful match most of the time.

However, if you start with a tutor and you feel your tutor isn't a great fit for you, then we can help match you with another tutor from the team.
